The Handmaid, in caring for the sick, the shut-ins and infirmed, is bearing witness to Christ's healing power by rendering improved health care services relevant to our time and place as medical doctors, nurses,medical technicians and pharmacists.

Education: We undertake educational ministry at all levels, with special attention to children, women, the poor and disabled. We perform our duty with love, respect and interest which was adopted by our Foundress and it is holistic in nature.

In our social ministry, we compassionately exercise our spiritual and corporal works of mercy toward the less fortunate in accordance with the social activities of the Church, in the spirit of our foundress, Mother Mary Charles Magdalene Walker, who spent herself so generously in the service of the marginalized.
